"Why you so happy?"

This is what Deston was asking me tonight. And so I listed for him:

• A couple of cardinals has taken up residence nearby. We daily watch them hop among the grape vines and telephone wires that surround us.
• We watched a spider make a web between two bars on our balcony.
  
• Papa made a good dinner - catfish with green beans and tomato in aioli.
• Eating outside on a temperate summer evening is heavenly.
  
• We have Irie and Mixie to catch the bugs that invite themselves into the apartment.

Truly, it was a beautiful night for us. There is one distinct difference between our old place and this new one. Before we had a place to live; now we have a home.
