Playtime/Playdates

A little while ago, we all ended up at the Laird's house (a common occurrence) and the kids went upstairs to play. They ended up in an absorbing game of veterinarian/doctor (don't worry, it didn't get inappropriate!). Elsie Laird has some pretty great toys and they're perfect for sharing with friends. Here are the kids.

These times with friends are so valuable. I really feel that Deston is learning to cooperate, share, and get along in a group. His imagination can grow as it interacts with his friends' ideas. At this point, Deston doesn't have a sibling to play with, which makes these playdates all the more important.
